i wish people would stop romanticizing not eating breakfast and not getting enough sleep and being dependent on coffee to function and always being in a bad mood and treating yourself poorly because that behavior is very unhealthy for you

especially amongst students it seems to be a competition on who had the least amount of sleep or ate the least or didnt do their work. stop it!!! go to bed and eat breakfast!!!! seriously it isnt cute please be nice to yourself

Its 4 am and i want to talk more about Identity

the more i think about it the more i really believe that the only identities that actually matter are the ones others put on you. You can say to yourself “this is who i am!” But if society sees you as something else, that is how they will treat you, that is what will define your experience of life.

The thing is, these external ideas of ourselves may be inaccurate!! They may not be True at all, but they are the only thing that is Real. We are entirely social animals, and the private identifiers we know to be true about ourselves are as pointless and ephemeral as dreams upon waking without others to reflect our truths back to us.

However. The only way to change this is to keep telling the world who you are. Keep saying it and putting it into practice over and over again until the world hears it, knows it, understands it, believes it, and reflects it.

That is the only way to obtain an existence that is both True and Real.

Accepting your limitations when you have a chronic illness or disability doesn’t mean you’re lazy or pessimistic. It’s more than ok to acknowledge and respect the fact that there are things you just can’t do. Don’t listen to anyone who tries to put you down or make you feel guilty for saying “no” when you aren’t able to do something.

“This is Jeremiah. Jeremiah wore safety goggles while angle grinding. Jeremiah still has his right eye. Be like Jeremiah.”

I feel like I need this specifically on my doll blog to remind myself to wear my safety goggles when doing heavy doll modding.

Every OSHA Personal Protectice Equipment regulation was written in blood, meaning as a result of death or serious injury.

Be like Jeremiah.
