death2america:

I was reading some Epoch Times takes on Mao (yes, I suffer that much to see opposing arguments) and noticed in one case the deaths they cited were actually predictions of Mao and his party, not an official count of how many people actually died. So basically it’s like if I said “this policy of mine will kill 1,000 billionaires” and someone jotted that down as a death toll regardless of what I actually achieved.

This proves the Epoch Times and similar media outlets are not interested in looking at the reality of these situations, but rather scrambling to form one that fits their narrative…AKA the worst possible way to do political research and how the Black Book of Communism was written according to its own contributors. So, read carefully folkz.
