Every time someone outside your sphere gets “cancelled” it looks like this

• A post appears on your dash three times. “So fucking sick of seeing Internet Jones ‘stans’ on this site. You guys are gross, he literally likes kicking dogs for fun.” And you’re like damn idk about that Internet Jones but I don’t really know anything about him so guess I’ll carry on.
• A month later you see the same post on your dash twice, but this time a much longer reblog had been added about how Internet Jones tripped over a dog ONCE in a video on someone else’s channel and has since apologized. They have a couple sources. You see a couple brief posts floating around defending his general character against “haters.” You think huh. Maybe that Internet Jones isn’t so bad after all.
• A month later the first post appears on your dash with the first reblog and a new reblog that says “damn so you guys are just gonna forget about how he murdered three people on national television or”

You now have no idea what to think of Internet Jones.
