I really hate how much credit is given to JK Rowling on stuff like “oh her books taught me to be loving and accepting and I can’t believe she’s so hateful now.” Like “accept people” isn’t the theme in most media aimed at young children. It’s not something unique to Harry Potter. Maybe make a fandom blog about Dragon Tales or Cyber Chase instead lol

She wrote a kids book with a vague “accept people for their differences” meaning like literally every other children’s book author

And at least PBS kids shows actually had characters who weren’t white
