Amazon Alternatives

po-tato-girl:

in light of the Amazon strike, I wanted to offer some alternative online stores you can use INSTEAD OF Amazon for the upcoming months until the employees at Amazon are granted some basic common decency 🙂

rakuten.com – has nearly everything Amazon has

ebay.com – just be careful for scams!

newegg.com – for electronics/technology

emusic.com – music for as little as $1!! They also have a membership program where you can get music for even less!!

barnesandnoble.com – they have collectible items and childrens toys too!

getting mad at people for not picking up on your ‘hints’ is so juvenile lmao imagine blaming your laziness and refusal to learn basic communication onto someone’s inability to read your mind. that’s tacky and u need to grow up

hey guys!! i tried to get in contact with discord about adding a dyslexic font and they told me the easiest way to get a change to happen was to post a feedback idea and get votes on it, so if you guys could vote for accessibility for people who are dyslexic, color blind, and visually impaired in other ways it would mean a lot to me! thank you!

This actually means a lot to people like myself (visually impaired/half blind and color blind) so it’d mean a lot!

Please do this!

“i just don’t see it” it’s a mental disorder, doofus. you’re not meant to ‘see’ it

if you take the muffler off your car or motorcycle… just… fuck you

great way to scream out to the world “i am annoying!!! i’m really annoying and i don’t care about other people!!!!”

my dad was an auto mechanic and he once sneaked over in the dead of night and welded a fresh muffler onto the mazda of the local Sound Bully

your dad was a hero

Motorcyclists are more likely to be killed than if they drove a car, not necessarily because of the lack of protection because they don’t need that protection if people actually freaking notice them. However, motorcycles are small and many people hate anyonewho rides one, so motorcyclists often are not noticed.

However. If your bike is extremely loud -as in really fucking noisy and obnoxious- people are more likely to notice you! It’s a survival tactic.

If you take the muffler off a car you’re probably just an asshole. Motorcycle? You might have a legitimate reason that involvesnot being run off the road or smashed into by someone paying more attention to the dog in the passenger seat and the phone in their lap than to the motorcycle in front of them. If you’re loud, you get a fighting chance.

there’s a big difference between “i’m sad because a character i was emotionally invested in was killed off” and “this character’s death served no purpose, was used for shock value, and is the product of bad writing and i’m upset about that”
