A take I didn’t expect to see in r/childfree is “n***** is an okay thing to call black people based on their behavior” (basically trying to argue that it was only a label for a type of person and not just a blatantly racist slur lol)

Like it was a thread about the word “breeder” and the distinction between “breeeders” and “parents”, and somehow that’s the same thing?

IDK, this has the same energy as “midget is as bad as the n word” or “boomer is the n word of ageism”. Like… the n word is on an entirely seperate plane than any of these words, lol.

People with children is not at all the same thing as black people, as in, people with children are not an oppressed/protected class.

I like to imagine that this was made by a 16 year old named Brad who owns mostly polo shirts and jeans, and refuses to wear anything else. He showers once every other day and doesn’t really “understand women” in his own words, although he swears he’s had sex before. He says “dank memes” at least twice a day and eats a lunch consisting of 2 candy bars and a diet coke, which he feels very mature buying from the school vending machine after gym class every day. He calls his parents rude names at school, and he comes home every day without noticing that his mom has made his bed and taken the trash in his room out. You can decide for yourself whether or not he owns some piece of pepe branded merchandise.

Eventually he’ll regret this page in private, but right now, he’s on top of the world. On top of the very small, heated, sheltered, and well lit corner of the world he lives in.

Why do you all take astrology so seriously like you do realize it’s a complete load of crap right. Most of the posts I see that say “oh x signs are option 1 and y signs are option 2” are incorrect when I actually look at them. The correct ones are probably coincidence. It’s almost like people are more complicated than some shitty star shit.

Is there any particular reason Nintendo elected not to make sure I was certain I wanted to make a permanent decision like moving my entire Pokedex up a generation like they have every other time

When I mentioned something about asexuality to my mom, without the label “asexual”, she said it was evidence that I was immature. She’s also told me multiple times that I’ll change my mind about relationships.
