They banned sitting at recess at my elementary school. Like at first they banned any kind of electronic game which I get like they need to enjoy the sunlight but if you were caught sitting like. Even on a swing you’d get yelled at to go walk around the blacktop until recess was over.

Illinois is going to die soon

Actually I have seen zero posts on tumblr about the crisis in Illinois.
Illinois has not had a state budget in over two years. You read that correctly. Our governor, Bruce Rauner, is doing fuckall for this state. He won’t approve a budget, and the ones he comes up with suck so the state senate won’t approve them. The GOP and Democrats are locked in a battle over this.
Schools are closing. A lot of schools won’t open this fall. The second largest school district in the state won’t open. The Illinois lottery is over. There’s talks of annexing the state.
