so many people are saying that allura not wanting to leave lotor in the rift means that she still has feelings for him and still loves him. but don’t you think that’s more indicative of her unwillingness to end other people’s lives as opposed to her still crushing on the guy who finished off killing the rest of her people?
the fact that allura passed the trials of oriande and lotor didn’t meant that allura was worthy of being a “life giver” whereas lotor wasn’t, which makes sense considering that lotor was justifying genocide and allura saved both shiro and lance this season and was hesitant to let even the subject of her scorn perish by her hand.
like let’s give some credit to her character and to her accomplishments as an altean alchemist as opposed to saying she still has feelings for a power-hungry murderer.
Yeah actually people do get angry when someone they’re trying to control rejects their advances that’s not just when they have unreciprocated feelings for them but that’s a.. lukewarm at best take on Lotor’s opinion of Allura
