The thing about the episode is that it didn’t even have an inherently trans meesage? Gonzo wanted to wear a dress to this ball they were having and he was scared he was gonna be made fun of so he disguises himself as Gonzorella so he can wear the dress and then the plot to Cinderella plays out like usual, and all the other muppet babies were like “we love you gonzo, we sorry we made you feel that way, we love you just the way you are”
The moral was literally the same “be yourself” stuff every kids media does, it’s just that involves a boy wearing a dress this time

Alright, who can tell me the three most blatantly obviously false things about this story (The fact that it’s on the Dodo should tell you how full of wrong it is all on its own):
“This tiny piglet was rescued from the freeway. It’s thought that she fell from an animal transport truck, possibly on its way to the slaughterhouse.”
1- This piglet is probably only a week old. NO ONE is sending piglets that young on transport to become food.
2- This is not a meat breed piglet. The brachycephalic nature of it’s face as seen in this photo plus the coloring suggest it is likely a potbelly or similar breed.
3- There is absolutely no fucking way this thing survived falling off a truck moving at freeway speeds. This is a common theme to every single “jumped off the slaughter transport” story- the animal has never broken a leg, suffered severe road rash or experienced internal hemorrhage in these stories.
4- I’m extremely suspicious over the idea that this piglet was just running around on a freeway without being turned into a pancake.
ugh. I watched the video. “She was probably born on the truck and fell off as she was only a couple days old” – No. She would have died, especially in australia, without being able to nurse for several days. She would have died simply falling off the truck. And considering her size in the ‘6 month birthday’- definitely a potbelly pig.
Piglets that are raised on pasture/outdoors are very well known for escaping through any small gap so there was probably a farm near that freeway raising pigs and she got out.
These kind of stories annoy me since they are so made up. The original article also asks for money for her upkeep too
if you drop a baby pig outside and make a dramatic video about you “finding” it you can get fucktons of cash from idiots who believe everything a petting zoo uh “sanctuary” says its very smart
