really hate how so many people are aphobic, transphobic, etc without being OPEN about it. i just wanna follow some new people without having to search through their blog to make sure they dont hate me or other people for simply existing
no seriously if you hate ace people get the fuck away from me. do not even try to defend yourself. i literally do not care.
This is a safe space for ace, trans and nonbinary people. Fuck off, exclusionists.
I’d like to add to this post and say it’s also an aro safe space
men and nonbinary people who have breasts are totally normal and cool actually
also this is true regardless of whether they bind or plan to have top surgery
I know you’re aiming for trans and nb people rn, but this would also probably help cis men with gynecomastia too 😀
This is one of the rare occasions when “cis men too!” is a good addition, and you’re so right! That did occur to me when I made this post and I’m glad you pointed it out
does anyone else still get really caught offguard when like famous streamers or youtubers or other internet people mention trans people in a positive way
when i was a kid i watched a ton of youtube and whenever trans people were mentioned, it was usually like in the context of a joke making fun of them. so hearing fucking jerma or whoever being like “yeah trans rights” just pleasantly surprises me no matter how often i hear it
some cis gamer dude: i think you should be able to change your name in animal crossing because like what about trans people who realize they’re trans after they’ve already named their character?
Idk what trans man out there needs to hear this but being men doesn’t make us evil, or bad. Realizing youre a man doesn’t magically make you a horrible person. You’re not betraying women by realizing youre a man. You don’t need to be scared of becoming something cruel. Men are not inherently evil. Men are not inherently cruel, or monsters.
if you compliment your cis male friends by calling them handsome and strong but you compliment your trans male friends by calling them pretty and cute and soft you need to take a moment and think about why you do that and how you really look at your trans friends
you may also take a moment to think if you call your cis male friends “man” but you call your trans male friends “boy” when they are the same fucking age :)))
actually, @ cis people, take a moment to think about this anyway because you might be doing this subconsciously!
and no, having done this subconsciously doesnt make you a bad person, realizing mistakes and changing behavior is part of growing and all that stuff
We talk a lot about how it’s okay to identify as nonbinary, only to later find out that binary trans suits you best. Which is great!
But it’s also okay to identify as nonbinary and later find out that your agab suits you best.
You’re allowed to question, and you’re allowed to realize you’re cis. You aren’t a “trender” or faking. You were questioning and found the answer. That’s okay.
Here’s a transitioning starter pack for all my trans folk out there!
Your transition is up to you- we want to provide information on all your options so you can make an informed decision about what you want. If you find a resource useful, then use it! If you’re not interested in doing any of the things listed, then don’t!
Kinda fucked up how cis women are allowed to abandon feminity in the name of feminism but trans women are forced to adopt it just to be recognized as women
even worse is when cis feminists accuse trans women who overperform femininity for safety of being tools of the patriarchy, and trans women who underperform femininity for ANY reason (including abandoning it in the name of feminism) fakers.
