The team who comes third in the World Cup will be happier than the team who comes second.
…this is not really a great observation or necessarily true. Firstly everyone who’s ever played a sport or knows sports knows this. Secondly Germany was way happier losing in the last few minutes/over time of the men’s Olympic hockey championship game than Canada was beating Czech Republic to get third. Come now.
