Open Discussion

I was thinking today, every regressive that disagrees with me tells me to “choke” or “kill myself”. So let’s play a game. The Trolly Choice has been subject of controversy because some say either way it justifies murder. I’m going to change the variables and offer you one alternate choice.

Option A
If you move the lever to Option A, everyone that supports BLM will be killed. There is no reversing this option. The reward to you for making this decision is having your bills paid for the next 10 years.

Option B
If you move the lever to Option B, everyone that supports Feminism will be killed. There is no reversing this option. He reward to you for making this decision is having a weekly deposit of $2,500 for the rest of your life.

Option C
Now you will notice that this is noticeably blank. That is because if you choose Option C nothing happens. The train just derails. You do not get a reward. You do not get to reverse this option.

Is anyone on the Trolly?
1 person is on the Trolly, but you can’t see who they are.

What would you choose?

I’m glad to see that the large majority of people are picking Option C… not to say that I thought they wouldn’t. It’s pretty obvious; why would killing people solve anything? That doesn’t make certain ideas any less wrong.

I have friends in those movements, not to mention that they have emotions, too. Why would I kill them?

#did you know it is a violation of student privacy laws to let students grade each other’s quizzes#it is also illegal to call out grades#it is just straight up illegal to allow students to know other students’ grades in the us#so in summary: bribe away kids your teacher is breaking federal law

are you srs holy shit

Holy fuck you are serious

I don’t see what the issue is with saying grades as long as they’re anonymous. Unless there were one or two obvious outliers, it could be used to help you as a student. But regardless, it still seems highly unnecessary.

And although I can see the problem in general the only class I’ve had where they did that way of grading was a class where a small percentage of weirdos actually took the class seriously. If you want an example, for most of the year I used my phone.
