Green Anaconda

Eunectes murinus

Source: Here

The anaconda lives in South America. They catch their prey by slithering silently and stealthily. They wait for the moment, and then, they bite their prey and constrict them! They squeeze super tight to make their prey suffocate. Every time their prey exhales, the anaconda tightens its grip. When constricting its prey, it also blocks the blood flow to the heart, causing cardiac arrest. Once the prey is done, the anaconda will eat it in 1 gulp. It dislocates its jaw at will and its teeth curve inward, allowing it to gulp down its prey.

I always appreciate learning more about the lovely animals that you guys request!!
