Ok liftblr family, I need to get a few things off my chest, in particular regarding trading/swapping with fellow lifters. This may be a bit uncomfortable but it needs to be said. I know many people have traded with each other and it went very well–-y’all become friends, discuss what you wanna trade and voila! swaps are successfully done and equally rewarding for both. This isn’t what I am talking about bby’s 😔 I am noticing some so-called “lifters”–I use quotation marks bc I question if these people are really lifters or if they are just plain scam artists who are trying to get free shit from REAL lifters who work very hard and risk our LIVES, getting caught, the whole nine yards lifting them things (sometimes retailing serious $$/high ticket items) It goes a little something like this–scammer sends lifter a message (stores mentioned are just examples): “hey, I am terrible at lifting makeup, in particular Sephora. Would you be willing to be lifting penpals? I am REALLY good at Michaels and can get you X amount of copics, art supplies and even an Instax!” Scammer continues to weave her web of lies, trying to gain trust, sympathy–basically saying just about anything to get the lifter to go out and lift whatever the scammer wants. Anyhow, the lifter works her tail off getting everything the scammer wants. Scammers ALSO have a tendency to ask for a LOT of things. High ticket** and popular? Even better! Then they send messages asking how long is it gonna take before the lifter ships-–basically putting the lifter in a hurried position to get everything because the scammer assures them that they’re all set to send on THEIR end (baiting the lifter with a false promise of a great and even trade), and then usually tacking on more things too until it gets IN-FUCKING-SANE. Finally, once the lifter has gotten all they can for the scammer–they ship it out and wait for the scammer to ship out on their end. The scammer comes up with every excuse under the sun for not sending–my dog ate the box, I can’t go to the post office, etc. Bottom line–the scammer isn’t sending the lifter a thing and never intended to in the first place. IT IS ALL ONE BIG FAT & SICK ASS SCAM TO GET THE SCAMMER A BUNCH OF FREE PRODUCTS! They then boost them usually. Taking complete advantage of good liftblr fam–and then they move onto their next victim 😡😡 Trust me on this, I am not just talking outta my ass, I wish I was. I have seen it happen and it makes me sick & revolted. I really wonder how someone could do something like this and lay their head down at night. Last thing imma say–please be careful bby’s. These predators will say or do A N Y T H I N G to get what they want. Stay safe please ily all! 🙏 **RE: high ticket items, had to add this in–lifting these puts not only the lifter at risk, but stores WILL NOTICE if these things are suddenly disappearing–makes the whole situation even stickier 😕

Idk what to do guys they gave us a court date and idk what’s gonna happen . And shoplifting isn’t even the only illegal thing that community supports… and I know I’m naive because I found out fairly recently that my school is no exception to the drugs/weed/alcohol/party stuff… but I guess I didn’t realize until now how lacking in basic human morals some people are. Rather, how frequent they are.
