Guns don’t make people violent. Why aren’t we ALL talking about the factors that lead someone to use a gun for harm?

YES, a gun is a weapon, but again, why are we more concerned with the weapon used than THE REASON the weapon was used in the first place? Why aren’t we concerned with the factors that lead to violence?

Regardless of the second amendment there’s no evidence that gun control actually does anything so how about we leave gun laws basically the way they are and go argue over something that actually makes sense like welfare or climate change. Idk.

The problem with Gun Control is that you’re trying, essentially, to stop illegal gun owners from owning guns…

Let me let you in on a little secret- you can’t, that’s why they’re ILLEGAL gun owners.

Interpret the 2nd Amendment how you will but legal gun owners aren’t the ones causing the problem.

My question to you is- how would you get rid of the number of illegal gun owners without affecting the ability for legal and responsible gun owners to practice their rights?
