Seriously, can someone help me?

Dumb textbook didn’t explain what makes a net ionic equation balanced, it just told you one wasn’t, fixed it, and told you what they changed. They didn’t tell you shit about why it was balanced.

The charges were identical on both sides? And when it was changed they were still identical. Except the net charge of both sides was higher.
