It’s not just men who think they are entitled to sex or a woman’s body.

Consent is needed every time, no matter what the relationship is

shes terrifying,

What the actual fuck?

Wow she’s scary.

You’re no feminist if this doesn’t bother you, that you don’t see the rape vibes here. Women can and do rape men. They use force, they use words, they can manipulate- just like men do. And it is just as wrong.

You are still a feminist if you believe this. You are just a feminist who needs a talking to.

Mary P Koss would be one of those feminists.

Karen Ingala Smith would be one of those feminists.

That womens march speaker who raped and killed a guy would be one of those feminists.

Most feminists in countries where rape is gendered by law (malaysia, India, Isreal, northern Ireland, the UK, and so on and so on) would be one of those feminists

Heads up. Guys can be raped by women. No matter how strong,
tall, buff or whatever. A guy can be
raped by a woman. And it shouldn’t make him weak, nor is it a laughing matter. It
is serious. Women can rape men.

And lastly, if a guy has an erection during rape, it doesn’t
mean he “wants it”. No. erections cannot be controlled, you cannot control if
you have an erection or not when something comes in contact with a certain part
of your body. Just because a man has an erection during rape doesn’t mean he
wants it.

End of story.

Saying that an erection justifies a man getting raped is like saying that a woman getting wet justifies her getting raped. It’s victim-blaming to the max and I really wish it stopped.

THIS.

Teach men not to rape is bullshit. Every normal human being knows that it is wrong to rape people, we don’t need to go over it. Women have raped people, men have raped people, rape is not a gendered issue. That’s like saying teach people not to murder, every normal person already knows that.

Stop saying teach people not to rape instead of taking precautions to protect yourself, men or women. Don’t put defending yourself on other people when you can buy pepper spray, or take a defense class.

Taking precautions to protect yourself isn’t sexist, it’s smart.

VICTIMS OF RAPE/SEXUAL ASSAULT OR ABUSE/VIOLENCE/STRONG EMOTIONAL ABUSE THAT WAS PERPETRATED BY A WOMAN OR FEMME PRESENTING/ALIGNING PERSON:

Hi, fellow survivor here. I’m trying to put together a mixed media art presentation featuring a drawing of a person (which will be a random drawing of a person based off of your description-NOTE THAT THE DRAWING WILL NOT LOOK LIKE YOU, JUST HAVE SIMILAR TRAITS SUCH AS EYE/HAIR/SKIN COLOR, FRECKLES/NO FRECKLES, GLASSES, AND HEIGHT/BODY SHAPE/WEIGHT. NOTHING TERRIBLY SPECIFIC UNLESS YOU WANT ME TO.) next to a summary of or the full story of what happened to you.

This is a really important project to me, as I’m doing it as a way to raise awareness of F-F and F-M and F-perpetrated rape/sexual abuse and assault/violence in general. You will be completely anonymous (UNLESS YOU EXPRESS OTHERWISE), and I am taking stories/descriptions both in my messages/inbox (I’M LEAVING ANON ON), and at my email: corelilaclaw@Yahoo.com

I’d really appreciate this getting a signal boost from @nunyabizni, @iicraft505, @astral–nymph, @typical-atheist-scumbag and feel free to tag anyone else you think might be able to make this post reach more survivors of female perpetrated sexual and physical violence!

It’s worth mentioning that even if you don’t want your story included in the project, I would still be more than willing to lend an ear to you.

Ithaca College student Yana Mazurkevich just rolled out her second Brock Turner-inspired photo series, in conjunction with sexual assault advocacy group Current Solutions.

Seriously. No matter who you are (other than a misogynist obviously), you should agree this sicko should get more time.

this is honest-to-god the first time i’ve seen a sexual assault/rape awareness campaign that shows not only men being victims but also women being perpetrators.

This is true gender equality anti rape ads and its amazing.

So powerful. Reblog every time

What do you think “rape culture” is?

I’m just wondering as I always hear “we don’t live in a rape culture because rapists get punished”.

So what do you think feminists mean when we talk about a rape culture?

Islam.

A culture that endorses child marriage.

A culture that says marital rape doesn’t exist.

A culture that stones women that get raped.

A culture that allows sex slaves.

A culture that says “sex outside of marriage is bad” so they allow 1 hour marriages.

When you see any of that happening in the west, let us anti feminist know.

In the west we punish all those things. We do not endorse rape or deny it exists. We only ask for proof because of due process and innocent until proven guilty.

Catcalling is not rape.

Sexy fictional characters on video games is not rape.

Manspreading is not rape.

Rapist are locked up. We try to lock them. Proven innocent alleged rapists are have their lives ruined.

I have a problem with the basis of the question.

Feminists say we live in a rape culture and then describe what that means; a society where rape is treated as normal and excused. I think about that and decide we do not live in a culture with those features. We have very low rates of it, and it’s considered a worse crime than murder.

I’m not going to dispute what you mean when you use the term you made up. My dispute is that it does not describe our society.

I suppose they aren’t going to consider that the term originates as a description of the handling, or lack thereof, of rape in the US prison system.

It does not describe the general population of the US and it was never meant to. Feminists use it because it is useful rhetoric.

When you look up Rape Culture on google it links you to pages that says Rape Culture normalizes rape and this creates an environment for people that prevents them from reporting their assault, and fails to punish rapists. This is demonstrably fault. There are men that at the behest of women have been jailed and/or killed on a woman’s word alone about her being raped. There was a man who was jailed for nearly 4 decades because a woman dreamed he had raped her. There is also 60%+ average of actual convictions for rape accusations that go to trial. North American society views rape as the same terms as murder(worse actually) and in no way normalizes. In fact in recent media there has been numerous amounts of false rape accusations made where the accused lives’ were ruined. This does not make a rape culture in the least.

When does this happen!!!! when has a woman come forward as a rape victim and it worked out in her favor!!! give me 5 sources c’mon where’s your evidence 👀👀👀

You…want me to look up court records for the thousands or cases that are heard each year? What are you asking for?

I’m askin for 5 sources, that’s it. Use google, and make sure it’s a reliable source. Due on my desk by Monday chop chop

You managed to almost but not quite answer the question. Stringing me along like this smells like troll…over and above the absurdity of the demand to supply five examples out of thousands.

Clarify: You want five examples of women who accused someone of rape and the accused was convicted? Yes or no.

I want 5 sources of:
1). A woman accusing a man of rape
2). That man is innocent
3). That man is convicted guilty and imprisoned
4). The woman is heralded as a hero
5). The woman’s life is significantly better due to her coming forward as a rape victim
6). The man never getting a chance to prove his innocence/get a lightened sentence

5 sources of exactly that happening, because that’s what you and all your friends are saying happens extremely often. Prove me wrong, c’mon.

Oh boy here we go. I’m not going to attempt to prove things you imagine I believe. You prop up your own damn strawman.

Also your list has an internal contradiction. We can’t know the man is innocent and there also never be a chance to prove his innocence. That makes no sense.

If you want to see something reasonable, like people, not just men, who were convicted and then later proven innocent you should look at The Innocence Project.

k but you’re trying to prove that specifically men face this issue. You’re derailing, that source shows mostly women.

Where are you getting all these ideas about what I’m trying to prove? I haven’t made a single claim in this thread. I’m not derailing anything, I’ve spent the whole time very patiently figuring out what you want.

The Innocence Project page shows mostly women proven innocent? That is a lie.

That’s the first page.

Oh also, since you didn’t seem to notice. Currently on the front page…you wanted five men. How about I raise you and present four women in one case. A much more telling prize.

http://www.innocenceproject.org/san-antonio-four-wrongly-accused-rape-lesbians/

If of course does not satisfy your better life afterward requirement for the accuser. Because that’s not the point when people make false accusations. They do it to hurt the people they accuse.

How is this still moving?

And it’s still going. I love it! It amuses me so.

If we lived in a rape culture, people falsely accused of rape and then proven innocent wouldn’t still have their lives ruined.
