Thoughts on Patrick Kane??

Someone is either a glutton for punishment or really wants to get me started, either way, lets get started.

Patrick Kane is possibly one of the most disgusting individuals in american sports, and I say that without exaggeration. Lets start with his early years in the NHL, where he assaulted a cab driver over 20 cents . We can go on to later where he went to a frat party in Madison Wisconsin and choked an underage girl and shouted anti-semetic slurs. And then we can talk about him in blackface. And all that alone would make him completely unworthy to be a highly paid athlete in a professional sports league, just one incident by itself is a death sentence. But here we are where it seems every year theres a new scandal, and then he is investigated for rape. 

The handling of Kane’s investigation was incredibly fucking disgusting, as he is allowed to attend training camp and media are not permitted to ask him any questions about the investigation. Compare this to Slava Voynov, who was suspended indefinitely while under investigation, and you realize there was serious benefit being given to Kane because of his skill as an athlete. 

As an aside I would like to note that Kane is incredibly overrated and there are thousands of players I would rather have on my team than him at half his supposed skill. 

Whether or not you think he was guilty, or is the accusations were false, or the whole thing was a hoax, it was disgracefully handled by both the NHL and Blackhawks organization as a whole. Prioritizing an athlete they see as a cash cow over their fanbase, and need I remind you all that men can be raped too. And I think it should be stated, that in a study by doctors from University of Massachusetts and Brown University in 2002, rapists rarely rape once. And on average, a rapist will rape 5 times. Glossing over this investigation and lazily treating it as though it was some gold digger looking for a cash payout is truly despicable. And the accuser stopped cooperating with law enforcement because her family was receiving death threats, she gained nothing from this. 

So, my opinion on Patrick Kane: hes a bacterial colony growing on ramen noodles that learned to perform a wrist shot, and the world would be better without him.

Also, I only whine about SJWs when there’s a logic fallacy. Otherwise I couldn’t give one shit less what they do.

And anyway, it’s has been proven false, I don’t see what’s so hard about that.
If you really weren’t just shitting on someone for the sake of shitting on them, you’d shit on Hope Solo and Patrick Kane, too. Because they’re, according to allegations, pretty bad too. But somehow got less attention than a fucking old-ass singer none of you were probably even aware of or listened to.
