And from what I’ve both seen and heard, a lot of people don’t think adults can have them. Which is obviously wrong.

Obviously of course childhood means “starts in childhood” in that context, but people wouldn’t necessarily know that.

Just because you haven’t heard something called something doesn’t mean it’s not called that thing or not treated like that thing.
