I posted about a much less ambitious version of this I did for one of my super bowl feasts. It was so good I’m going to probably do it again this year.

The recipe I was using had Italian sausage blended in with the ground beef. It was key. Those burgers were phenomenal 😋

And another thing. This one has a bit too much cheese and is too big for a Super Bowl menu item. (It’d be fine by itself but wow cheese)

I need room for the other courses.

This year I’m gonna go full garlic on em. Garlic bread lower bun, sauce, cheese. Under the broiler.

Then on the nearly finished quarter pound sausage/burger patty I’ll have cheese, sautéed garlic, and cooked pepperoni. I’ll put that under the broiler. More sauce on top and top bun. Boom

If I get real ambitious I’ll use the pizza dough from the super market to make buns that morning. (Pizza dough buns are extremely good, and when they sell the dough in the store it’s a no brainer)

The question is what are my other courses going to be? Soup (chili/chowder) course, wing course, salad course, meat/burger course, homemade ice cream sandwich dessert etc. I’ve decided on some already
