You are so much stronger than you believe. I know at times it may feel like the opposite, but you guys are strong as hell. Strength is not just overcoming your hardships, but taking the steps to overcome them. You have come so far and I’m so proud of you.

This goes for girls do. I have a lot of those, but girls get these things too, people!!!

That’s true! Girls do get these things, and they deserve a lot of positivity. I’m a girl and I have a few of the things I listed, and I heckin love positivity. However, this post was made for boys because a lot of boys tend to not get help for their mental illness for a variety of reasons, and I just wanted to spread some positivity their way. Positivity towards boys =/= negativity towards girls. I hope you understand!

i’m concerned about boys with mental illnesses and eating disorders and abusive relationships and sexual assault survivor stories and self-harming tendencies who never get the attention or care or help they need because all of those things “don’t happen to men” or because “all men are horrible monsters” and i just wanna say if you’re a boy and you’re struggling with something hard, your gender doesn’t diminish or dismiss your struggles or make them any less significant or difficult and i love you and i’m here for you

u are allowed to like makeup and nail polish

u are allowed to have big lips

u are allowed to be comfortable with a female body if youre trans or afab nonbinary

u are allowed to wear “girl clothes”

u are allowed to be pretty

u are allowed to have beautiful dark eyes

u are allowed to be expressive and creative and emotional!!

there is no wrong way to be a boy and i cant believe were so bad about letting boys know that no matter what youre still valid
