Just my onion but idk what’s so bad about getting excited about matt like 1. hes shiro’s old teammate 2. hes pidge’s missing ass brother who she’s been looking for since before the show even began so we’ll get to see how he acts around pidge and shiro + the rest of the team and vice versa 3. he’s been in galra captivity/is part of a got dam rebel group which means he’s probably at least semi cool and 4. new recurring characters r exciting
