Parentheses (same thing as brackets, this is what ive always heard them called? maybe its a thing where its called different things in different parts of the world)
Exponents (gotta be honest i didnt pay attention when we learned abt exponents enough to properly explain what they are, but basically that little number thats by bigger numbers that tells u how many times to multiply it with itself)
Division (÷ thats all i need to say right?)

Exponents are multiplication on a big scale and can represent big numbers easier

Everyone in the tags getting upset about this. All the acronyms mean the same thing, in the same order, with just slightly different words. The US uses PEMDAS: parentheses, exponents, multiplication/division, addition/subtraction.
The B in other acronyms is Brackets (the same thing as parentheses). The I is for Indices (same as exponents). Some places use O for Order (again same as exponents).
The reason why some have D before M is because those steps happen at the same time (usually left to right).
I promise you don’t have whatever acronym you learned permanently burned into your brain all for nothing. They all work just the same.

An exclamation point after a number means factorial. Five factorial is 5 times 4 times 3 times 2 times 1. Three factorial is 3 times 2 times 1, etc.
But the more exclamation points after a number, the less big it is, a double factorial is every other number, so 6!! is 6 times 4 times 2, which is less than 6!, So yelling a number makes it bigger, but yelling louder makes it smaller again
