i think one of the most beautiful scene in cars 3 is when they all race in the woods in the middle of the night and lightning’s chrome paint starts to worn off because of all the trees scratching him and you slowly start to see the famous “lightning mcqueen” sticker on his side and then all of the sudden the chrome paint is gone and his old/iconic look is back. i feel like its a way of showing that he found his old self again and i think it was shown in a really handsome way. thank you pixar for this scene, i’ll cherish it forever
