one thing i just loved is when you hear some of keith’s speech patterns and phrasesreturning in S6 after a while of being so emotionally cleaved open and troubled like it made me so happy. i know we’ve chatted about some endearing stuff before [x][x][x] [x] [x] and also he’s got this really wry and dry sense of humour that creeps out in places, but DAMN he can be so sarcastic and snarky IT MAKES MY ENTIRE LIFE LIKE OH MY GOD KEITH YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO JUST SAY THAT BUT YOU DID IM CRYNGOHASODSOUA.Â
and literally as soon as he said this,
like yea okay i know it’s not even really that snarky at all but the tone and his expression it’s just that clipped exasperation ‘of course we are going there. of course’ IT’S JUST THAT PART OF KEITH I ADORE YOU KNOW THIS IM SO ALIVE oHADOUAHSDOSA and it’s like the echoes of stuff he has said before just GOSH
then hE SAID THIS:
HAHAHAHAHAHA. IN SUCH A FLAT BLUNT WAY I LOVE HIM i remember my entire face lit up bc there it is!!!!! keith hasn’t really done that ‘makes sarcastic/snarky/blunt or offhanded comments’ since really 3.04 tbh (posted about that a while agohere ICONIC.!). and it was just wonderful to see this starting to return and it reminded me a little of UC too and i’ve just missed seeing and hearing it so much.Â
keith refused to get angry or aggressive when someone he loved was literally beating him, bruising him and trying to murder him
like he stood his fucking ground, kept talking patiently, stayed focused, did his best to stay calm and never once made it about how shiro was hurting him, only about how much good he saw in shiroÂ
and after all that he STILL had it in him to go lead his friends into battle against a weapon as powerful as voltron, like………the growth he has gone through makes me cryÂ
