just started invincible. i think the animation is really good and its pretty interesting so far but idk why people hate omni man so much? he goes kinda hard with marks training ig but its not THAT bad, honestly as far as fictional dads go he might even be a little above average. not that thats a high bar tho lol
1. He immediately believed his father was being controlled rather than automatically believing him. He gave him the benefit of the doubt.
2. No matter how many times Nolan tried to convince him, he didn’t listen. With tears running down his face and blood filling up his lungs, he didn’t stand down.
3. He literally kept fighting until both his legs were broken
4. Nolan kept saying how all of the deaths were his fault. While Mark may believe that to an extent and is still traumatized by it, he KNOWS that millions more would die if he gave in. So he stood back up.
5. This motherfucker raised him. Nolan is fucked up but he was there for every aspect of Mark’s life. Hell, better fathers would miss their son’s baseball game. But Nolan was there. Kudos for Mark for disregarding that fact and defying him anyway.
6. Mark said he would still have Nolan in 500 years. He still loves him. Or at least can’t live without him when everyone else is gone. He threw his pride away to say that.
