HERE ARE SOME THINGS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOBODY THAT ACTUALLY USES YOUR FUCKING WEBSITES WANTS TO EVER EVER EVER FUCKING SEE:

  • AUTOPLAYING VIDEOS, MUSIC, OR ADS
  • SOME PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE MESSAGE ABOUT HOW AD BLOCKING IS BAD FOR YOUR WEBSITE. BITCH BOY MY MOM DONE GOT MALWARE BEFORE FROM “LEGITIMATE” NEWS WEBSITES, I’M NOT TAKING ADBLOCK OFF. MY ADBLOCK JUST BLOCKED 30 GODDAMN ADS FROM YOUR WEBSITE. I’M LESS LIKELY TO GET COMPUTER AIDS BY GOING ON 4CHAN AT THIS POINT.
  • IF YOU BLOCK ACCESS TO YOUR WEBSITE WHILE TELLING ME TO BLOCK ADBLOCK, I’LL JUST USE ANOTHER FUCKIN WEBSITE
  • IF YOU ARE A SOCIAL MEDIA SITE I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE FUCKING POSTS IN ANYTHING EXCEPT ~FUCKING CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER~. NO. NO HIGHLIGHT REELS. NO “IN CASE YOU MISSED IT” NO /FUCKING NEWS STORIES/ THAT YOU SHOVE IN MY GODDAMN FACE WITH NO WAY TO DISMISS IT! NOOOOOOO.

I DON’T GIVE A /FUCK/ HOW “COOL” OR “QUIRKY” YOU ARE OR MARKET YOURSELF, IF YOUR WEBSITE SAYS “SOMETHING WENT SPLAT” OR “OOPSY” WHEN A PAGE DOES NOT LOAD I WILL TEAR MY OWN FUCKING JAW OFF AND CHARGE AT YOUR HEADQUARTERS AS A FURIOUS RENEVANT AFTER ENDING MY OWN EXISTENCE IN SPASTIC FURY

Just a heads up to anyone with Facebook and the actual level of their fuckery – definitely recommend checking and see what data they saved on you

Yeah Facebook basically tracks everything you do and visit, even when you aren’t using it (which would be less evil, but I digress). They use basically soft spyware which is significantly worse than cookies, this way they get as much information on their users as possible, use this data for malicious purposes such as selling said info to corporations or government agencies.

When you harass somebody to the point that they have to delete their accounts just to escape from it, that’s probably a sign that you’ve gone way too fucking far.

There is a strong difference between criticizing someone for their poor behavior and forming an online hate mob to essentially chase them off of the internet.

Netflix’s new site is a giant “f*ck you” to Comcast and Time Warner

Netflix launched a site late Wednesday night called Fast.com, where — in one click — anyone browsing the internet can see how fast their internet speed is. Although it’s great for consumers, some internet providers might not be happy about the new website.

Netflix didn’t invent that it’s been around

Netflix didn’t invent speed checks, but this site is Netflix’s.

Okay, so here’s why Netflix speedtest is so brilliant. 

Most of us know about Speedtest.net, right? Well Comcast and Time Warner know about it too. They know customers use it to check to see if they’re getting what they are paying for. Comcast techs even tell customers to check their speed with Speedtest.net. 

So, to make sure people think they are getting good speeds, Comcast and Time Warner prioritize traffic going to Speedtest.net. When you check your speed there it’s artificially inflated. That is NOT the speed you are getting when you browse tumblr and that is definitely not the speed you get when you watch Netflix. 

Comcast and Time Warner can not artificially inflate the results by prioritizing traffic to Fast.net unless they also prioritize traffic to Netflix, and they definitely do not want to do that. 

That is so fucking slimy. Good for Netflix

Been using this for a while and recommending it to people, just for the ease of use alone
