if youre too scared to drive because you are consumed with uncertainty and fear of what to do and youve convinced yourself that youll mess it up and seriously hurt or kill yourself or others and this leaves you dependent on other people and makes you feel like a useless piece of shit clap ur hands *clap clap*
i made this post two years ago and i wanted to make an addition: as of now i have my license and i can drive without being afraid! i wanted to say that for all of the people reblogging this because they relate. i used to be DEATHLY terrified of driving; i would burst into tears just getting behind the wheel and i couldnt drive on the highway because i was so scared
it took a lot of time, patience, and practice, but i hope this maybe gives some of you hope that you too can conquer your fear. there was a time it seemed absolutely impossible for me, but it DID improve. and i believe in you. i believe that you can do it! push your limits slowly and safely. maybe it takes months, years, but theres a light at the end of this tunnel

this post is circulating again….pls reblog this version instead if u can!!!
i just got a super predatory debt collection letter. it was for a $113 debt from citizens bank, who i had an account with when i was 16 (20 years ago). the letter appeared to be an offer to cancel the debt if i paid them $22.75. HOWEVER, the actual wording is, “The amount of the debt is $113.77 and we will accept $22.75.” so, no MENTION of canceling the debt, but the implication is there because many collectors of current debt offer to settle for a percentage.
at the bottom of the letter, it says: “Because of the age of your debt, we cannot sue you for it and we cannot report to any credit reporting agency. In many circumstances, you can renew the debt and start the time period for the filing of a lawsuit against you if you take specific actions such as making payments on the debt or making a written promise to pay.”
basically… i don’t owe this money anymore, the debt is so old they can’t legally sue me for it OR put it on my credit report, BUT if i take their generous offer of paying them $22.75… they can sue me for the full amount because making a payment makes the debt current.
no thanks, jefferson capital systems llc.
always, always read the entire letter! it is so important because of semantic awfulness like this!
Always be vague. Say I think they’re in today or not until later. If they press say it’s company policy not to give out the schedule. Most companies do have this and even if they don’t how would a stranger know. Don’t give out specifics, they can get people injured or even killed.
At my last job someone came up and asked when “Sarah” was working next. I didn’t tell him and then texted her a description, turns out he was an abusive ex who had been stalking her. Don’t do this shit please.
On a job application: “What is your preferred name and gender, we value diversity, so be honest.” Me:
I don’t know what this means. I’ve never filled out a form that said that.
they’re asking you to disclose if you’re transgender. legally, they can’t ask or consider someone’s gender in hiring someone, so they get around it by giving you the option of telling them yourself. if you “volunteer” the information, that’s legal.
its like when they try to figure out if you’re poor by asking if you have “reliable transportation,” hoping that ppl will explain that they dont have a car without actually being asked. things like that.
its a scummy thing to do, especially in this case where theyre presenting it like a “diversity” thing.
^^^^
Never answer those questions honestly if you actually want the job.
My managers have personally told people that anyone who puts anything like that outside of just “male or female” gets their application tossed immediately. Btw if an interviewer asks if you have reliable transportation, don’t say anything but “yes I do” that’s it!!!!! Don’t say another word don’t say you take the bus or walk or bike or get rides or uber don’t say anything!!!!! Just say yes and that is it they cannot require any sort of proof of transportation.
Shit. I didn’t know that about transportation but I’mma start doing it now.
I just took a class where one of the things we had to go over was interviewing to hire.
The entire process was super gross and made me feel scummy and unethical. SO!
Look at this shit. The incel crisis is becoming an epidemic.
But I mean just look at the physiognomy on this fucking guy.
Also I’m praying this guy doesn’t commit some sort of mass violence. He has a “Trump confederate flag” in his fb header.
This is still popping up on my dash even though it was debunked and some ass made it up to hurt him/the community/as a joke or whatever
*Yes there are real people who would say this stuff/act this way but this post is fake and people need to stop spreading this one around*
If you had an encounter with an incel/nice guy talk about the real stories and events that happened with real people you’re making the guy in the photo look like a monster maybe he is an incel/nice guy but this story is not his/something he did someone else made it as satire and y’all taking it and running with it so chill a bit
***THE OP HAS EVEN COME OUT AND SAID IT WAS FAKE AND NOBODY WAS REBLOGING THAT ADD ON*****
1. Service dogs can be any breed (pure or mixed), any size, shape, gender, color, or coat type. Though Labs, Goldens, Poodles and a mix of these three may be a common sight in service dog work, any breed can be a service dog.
2. Every service dog is trained to perform a specific task. Leading the blind, detecting seizures or severe allergies, to assisting for balance and helping PTSD victims the possibilities in tasks these dogs are trained in are vast. Handlers who have service dogs have a disability (whether visible or not).
3. These dogs are doing a job. You wouldn’t touch someone’s wheelchair or hit a blind person’s cane. Service dogs are no different than medical equipment, they assist the disabled.
4. Please do not touch, pet, talk to, look at, stare at, feed, or even acknowledge a service dog. Completely ignore them. Distracting a service dog can literally mean life or death for someone. Seizure alert dogs can detect a seizure minutes before it happens, giving the handler time to get to a safe place to prevent injury. If a person has a seizure and cracks their head open because you distract that dog, that is on YOU. If a diabetic alert dog (?) fails to detect high/low blood sugar and that person goes into a diabetic coma because you pet that dog that is on YOU. Do not distract a service dog, regardless of how you feel. Dogs are not public property because they are in a public place.
5. Service dogs are not required by law to wear a vest.
6. You are not entitled to touch a dog merely because it is in a grocery store, park, train, bus, or anywhere. Even if the dog is just a pet, ask before you pet. And if there is a patch on the dog that clearly says DO NOT PET then do not pet. It is that simple.
7. Teach your children to ignore service dogs. Time and time again, children of many ages have ignored the vest, patches, and even myself. You have no right to get offended or angry when I tell your child “No.” I do not have to give a reason. I should not have to school your kids on why they cannot touch my dog.
I have barely scratched the surface on the list of disabilities and tasks but that isn’t the point. Handlers are getting sick and tired of ignorant people who think it is okay to mess with our dogs. I should not be afraid to go out in public with my dog because of the people who touch my dog, talk to my dog, call me out, or accuse me of faking my disability.
