instead of calling an ‘evil’ character a psychopath, sociopath, psychotic, narcissistic or etc. use any of these words instead:
self-centered
violent
manipulative
remorseless
wicked
cunning
mean
abusive
dangerous
corrupt
morally corrupt
insensitive
bully
foul
vile
cruel
aggressive
threatening
brutal
vicious
rampaging
out of control
because there are so many ways to describe someone as ‘bad’ than by assigning them a misunderstood, demonised personality disorder and if i see anyone using personality disorders as substitutes for evil then you’re getting blocked plain and simple.
Everyone always insist on arguing this point, so here’s another example.
Would you call a character autistic because you don’t like them? Would you call a character autistic to show how evil and terrible they are as a person?
No, of course you wouldn’t.
Then why do you think it’s okay to call them a sociopath or psychopath?
If you’re 15 or under and you’re making nsfw jokes on the regular, you need to step back and realize that is not normal, that is not a good example of productive internet usage
If you’re 16 and you have a “kink list” there is something wrong with how the internet has affected you. Take a step back and assess yourself
We all hate corporations and Disney until they give us a mildly cute character design huh
I’ve spoken on this a lot, but basically 90% of the lower level people who work there are wonderful people who make the world a better place…
And then there’s upper management.
^^This^^ Never confuse the wage laborer with the executives of a corporation.
The executives want you to, because it a) lets them get away with using rhetoric like “We’re one big happy family!” when things are going their way, and b) gets you to blame the individual worker whenever there’s a dispute – rather than getting you to question the whole power structure.
Gosh I hate grind culture. My little sister just started medical school and all of her orientation leaders are like “you absolutely cannot have a life WHATsoever you WILL have to give up EVERYTHING besides this program say GOODBYE to your hobbies and relationships” and now she’s calling me feeling guilty for running and going to the grocery store and that’s just WRONG! And that is exactly what I was told starting law school as well, and rejecting that mentality was the best thing I ever did but it was so hard not to buy into. Anyway if any of you are in an intense academic program PLEASE take time to sleep and eat and exercise and maintain your relationships and keep up your hobbies! you are not a robot who exists solely to study and I promise that living a life and staying physically and mentally healthy is not going to make you fail
but there will be no prophesying, speculating, speaking into existence, etc about next year
no “I feel really great about next year,” no “I’d love more time at home to work on my hobbies,” no “surely it can’t be any weirder than 2020,” nothing
this need to “prove” you’re “really” struggling is fcking everywhere
people don’t owe you irrefutable evidence of their hardships. people don’t need to hand you a testimony of their struggle in order for you to take them seriously and you need to get that into your head
When say that me say something is not means verbal word is mean signs or pecs or sometimes write is not mean people need say thought you am nonverbal just because nonverbal not mean do not say things all way person say things matter not just say verbal words matter
