I left that out because you should see the issue once you add that part yourself, you pay a child because they have a period 1 of 2 things will happen.

Because children’s brains are still developing and id and ego are still major contributors to a child’s motivations, the child will associate money and financial gain will pain and suffering.

Or infinitely more likely, you’re child will grow up expecting to be paid for random shit that does not merit reward, this will ruin friendships, potential job applications/careers and you will have raised your child to be a spoilt brat much like yourself.

First of all I work like 70 hours a week so Im not spoiled lol.

Second, we already pay kids for losing teeth and they turn out just fine. Im guessing maybe your parents didnt and thats why your feelings are so hurt?

Also, personally, I feel like paying someone for something like that will make it seem like a bigger deal than it is. Sure, it’s an adjustment, but so is high school, and 9th graders don’t get paid for that.

Periods are stupid. If they’re taboo, that’s fine. It’s going to be uncomfortable whether you get paid or not.

And anyway, I don’t get tooth fairy either. It just makes it into a bigger deal than it should be. If periods are truly something that shouldn’t be taboo, than paying people isn’t the answer.
Dogs need positive reinforcement to be trained. People can just be told that -insert here- is natural.

If a parent wants to do it if it helps their child, though, I literally couldn’t care less. But for me, and I’m sure a lot of other people, it would just make it more uncomfortable. I prefer keeping it to myself and have since they started and I’m not the only one.
I just don’t think it should become cultural commonplace.
