@leafquill i’m honestly starting to think the “you can’t innovate anything without the profit motive” people personally are selfish and apathetic and just project it onto everyone else
redditors are like “billionaires are bad and shouldn’t exist except for this one who posts memes on twitter even though he’s literally as bad if not worse than the ones we hate”
I’m convinced there’s an equivalent to “Video games weren’t political when I was a kid!” that’s like “Songs weren’t sexual when I was a kid!”
They were, you were just really bad at picking up on subtext
“music these days is so vulgar and perverted. kids should listen to chaste, non-sexual older music, like AC/DC’s hit single ‘you shook me all night long’”
if u register satanic imagery as any kind of genuine threat… sucks to be you…. devils and flaming skulls are so cool and pretty to look at. youre missing out on all these epic devils and flaming skulls dude
polyamory is neither inherently abusive or radical it’s literally just dating multiple people at once. this has pros and cons and risk factors specific to it just like monogamy does. that’s it. not that deep, no need to apply all sorts of symbolism to it
ppl on my dash really saying why isn’t everyone reblogging this if you don’t you’re a bad person like ok but also consider that i refuse to guilt trip my followers and you can care about things and learn about current events without posting about it on tumblr to make people feel bad lol
it seems like technology wise companies wanted to make flatter and flatter products to the point where some of their functioning is limited and I have to say, does anyone even WANT a tablet as thin as a piece of paper or did it just become a trend because it looks modern? tech nerds help
reminds me of this lol
like, do we really need these ultra-simplistic products just because they look cool?
i’m tired and angry and i just wanna give a special fuck you to every teacher who implied that using “complex” language meant you were cheating or sucking up, when in fact that’s just how a lot of neurodivergent/autistic kids (and adults) naturally sound
