That 13 year old is hilarious to me because..
“Stay away from things you don’t know anything about”
Honey. I’ve been at the feminism debate for.. two years maybe? And you’re barely old enough to be on Tumblr. Chill the fuck out.

If anyone ever tries to tell me my anti feminism didn’t start naturally I’m going to drop kick them into next year. I realized it was mostly bullshit when people were telling me about how necessary it was and how oppressed I was, and I didn’t buy any of it. Okay. It was natural.
Your tags say that you believe there is gender inequality but no oppression?? You understand that these things kinda go naturally hand in hand…
Not at all. To start off with, oppression is systemic, inequality isn’t necessarily.
Men are likely to have false rape allegations ruin their lives even if they’re proved wrong. Men statistically lose custody battles, even if they’re the better parent. Male mental healthcare is pretty bad. Lots of people believe men can’t be raped.
Women have all of that objectification stuff to deal with. The pressure to look nice and all that. I think feminists overplay that pressure, but it definitely does exist to a degree.
Men and women have different advantages and disadvantages depending on the topic, and even what specific nuances of the topic we’re looking at. It’s not necessarily oppression.
I love how even though what you said was true, you’re phrasing told me EXACTLY what you think of the shit women have to deal with.
Everything you said in the first section is true. Those are bad things. Sure.
But the second section? Wow. “All that objectification stuff” JESUS, yeah, that’s exactly how I’d put it too. When my mum worries about me, a 13 yo getting comments from older men about my appearance because I’m wearing lipstick that day, it’s just “all that objectification stuff.” When women are told what they’re wearing is inappropriate, just because it’s shows shoulder, and that completely innocent body part is being sexualised unnecessarily by the very people telling them not to show it, it’s just “all that objectification stuff.” Catcalling. “All that objectification stuff.
“The pressure to look nice and all that” yes. “And all that” perfect. A woman’s worth in this society is pretty much determined by her looks “and all that.” Laying awake stressing about people being disgusted by me because I don’t like shaving my legs, because i have a pimple on my face that day, because my hair is slightly frizzy, because I’m not good at makeup and I pretty much only do it because I feel like I’ve been forced into it rather than that I enjoy it “and all that.” totally exaggerated.
Not to mention, those are really the only issues women face that you can come up with? What about women in third world countries, women of colour? Queer women?
Female genital mutilation, the overt sexualisation of queer women, lesbians in particular, the pay gap, those are just off the top of my head! If I sat down to think about it I could come up with a million more.
I’m not commenting on oppression vs inequality, I truthfully don’t understand enough about the subject to engage with you about it.
But since I’m paying you the same respect, can you do me a favour and stay away from subjects you don’t understand?Firstly, do NOT COMPARE THIRD WORLD OPPRESSION AND HAVING TO LOOK NICE!
Secondly, I don’t understand? That’s fucking… wow. I don’t understand. Mmkay. I do understand.
The pay gap doesn’t exist. Sorry.
And the pressure to look good is entirely on you. It’s not anywhere near as strong as you say it is. I worry about it occasionally because I don’t pay that much attention to my appearance, but I know most people don’t care. You don’t have to worry about your appearance if you don’t want to.
And oppression vs. inequality is just a matter of understanding dictionary definitions. A five year old with no knowledge of gender inequality, feminism, or oppression could probably figure out the difference if you spelled it out with examples clearly enough.
First off, the pressure to look good is OBVIOUSLY there. It’s plastered everywhere. Everywhere I look in the media, everything supposedly representing what a women should be is just “perfect” women, perfect body, hair, makeup, skin. It’s subconsciously programmed into everyone. It’s also a marketing ploy to get women to by products to look beautiful, because unfortunately in our society that’s essentially a necessity.
Dude, have you ever looked up the pay gap. At all. There are government websites, statistics. How do you just deny something that’s blatantly there? I don’t understand?
Also, I CLEARLY wasn’t comparing the two, they were completely seperate, I was just pointing out the wide, WIDE range of issues you neglected to mention. And I tried to include the struggles of a variety of women.
And I obviously wasn’t talking about the simple definitions of the words, oh my god.
Just one last thing, as I probably won’t reply to this again, did you… did you really feel threatened enough, by a 13 yo, on tumblr, that you needed to call in backup? … really?
Yep. And the same thing exists for men. And guess what? It’s entirely within you to decide if you care or don’t care about hose standards. They’re unrealistic so it’s pointless to even pay attention to them anyway. Nobody looks like photoshopped models.
I have actually, and it’s not real. It’s misrepresented statistics. Different field, different career, different experience, different level, different pay. Nothing to do with gender.
I was saying that neither gender was oppressed in America, and when I say America, in this context, at least, I mean the first world. You brought up third world oppression as if that has dick shit all to do with first world inequalities
You said you weren’t arguing the difference when the difference is a matter of definitions.
“Backup”… more sharing than calling in backup. I don’t need backup. I know my beliefs and I know when to admit that I’m wrong. I don’t need backup to figure out what I believe, and I’m not threatened at all. If you were 25 and had brought in statistics and sources I wouldn’t feel threatened. Essentially I don’t need someone else to affirm my beliefs.
And anyway. I didn’t really want to get into this argument. I just did because unfortunately I have a hard time letting things go. I was just saying that neither men or women are oppressed in the first world, even though yes, there are clear inequalities.
If anyone ever tries to tell me my anti feminism didn’t start naturally I’m going to drop kick them into next year. I realized it was mostly bullshit when people were telling me about how necessary it was and how oppressed I was, and I didn’t buy any of it. Okay. It was natural.

If you praise trans boys and then turn around and post shit about how ‘evil men and boys are’ then you’re fake as shit and you don’t actually support trans boys and I don’t want you anywhere near them.
Because you’re doing two things when you do this. The first is that you’re dehumanizing and demonizing men when you post shit like ‘all men are rapists’ or ‘all men should die.’ When people that can see your post include: male survivors or active victims of emotional/physical/sexual abuse, CSA survivors, suicidal men, men with personality disorders or mental illness, etc. and then when you turn around and you’re like ‘but trans boys are perfect!!! uwu’ you’re just separating trans boys from Cis boys and you’re saying they’re not ‘real boys.’ And you’re treating them like watered down versions of cis boys and you’re praising them because they have or had a vagina and you’re just separating and invalidating them. This behavior is so gross and problematic and it needs to stop.
Being a cancuck is difficult.
There are a lot of outdated opinions on this blog, if you really want to know my opinion on something, you’re going to have to ask.
It’s not just men who think they are entitled to sex or a woman’s body.
Consent is needed every time, no matter what the relationship is
shes terrifying,
What the actual fuck?
Wow she’s scary.
You’re no feminist if this doesn’t bother you, that you don’t see the rape vibes here. Women can and do rape men. They use force, they use words, they can manipulate- just like men do. And it is just as wrong.
You are still a feminist if you believe this. You are just a feminist who needs a talking to.
Mary P Koss would be one of those feminists.
Karen Ingala Smith would be one of those feminists.
That womens march speaker who raped and killed a guy would be one of those feminists.
Most feminists in countries where rape is gendered by law (malaysia, India, Isreal, northern Ireland, the UK, and so on and so on) would be one of those feminists
Y’all can’t complain about how women are objectified when you objectify men in the exact same way
