It’s been confirmed that all of Doc’s lines in Cars 3 have come from unused recording done for the first film. Paul Newman has not been recast and will not have a new voice actor in cars 3.
I love Doc so much and his backstory is so sad…like, he was probably like Lightning when he was younger and then the crash and he put away all his stuff and never raced again??? And then history repeats with Lightning crashing and “the next rookie standing in line” is now Jackson Storm??
I can’t wait to learn even more about him in Cars 3…
New previews of the Sally and Doc Hudson Tsum Tsums from the upcoming Cars Collection! The collection currently does not have an official release date set, but expect it to be in stores sometime before Cars 3 hits theaters on June 16th.
