For @hopgoblin This wonderul warlock!

“The long-abandoned child of a powerful warlock, Lucerne has lived alone in The Beastlands, a strange and wild plane of existence, for as long as she can remember. More dryad than human, her sudden travel to the Prime Material Plane has left her disoriented. Her green skin, antlers, hooves, and wild demeanor draw others’ attention constantly, much to her dismay.” by hopgoblin

I wanted translucence and green and magenta and purple for the druid Lucerne, to show her wild spirit and inherent fey nature. Two d6a here, to show wild magic of the Beastlands this dryad controls!

Dungeons and Dragons, but your character must be a self insert, and class is determined by your current abilities

Barbarian Must have a demonstrable temper, go off I guess
Bard Must be able to play an instrument
Cleric Must be involved in a religious organization
Druid Must have demonstrable knowledge of, or passion for nature
Fighter Must beat the DM in physical combat (hope your DM’s a wimp)
Monk Must practice a martial art
Paladin Must have a cause that one actively supports
Ranger Must be able to fire a kind of ranged weapon accurately
Rogue Must sneak up on the DM (Hard mode: steal their dice)
Sorcerer Must have a powerful family heirloom
Warlock Must work for a powerful entity (Corporations, The Government)
Wizard Must have a College Degree or a 3.0 GPA

If you can’t be any of these you start as a commoner, and may become one of these classes when you finally satisfy these conditions.

my favorite d&d thing is when someone flubs like a really obvious perception roll or something and the dm gets to be like, “well, you’re pretty sure you’re in a room but you could be wrong”

it is either really wet or really dry, you’re not entirely sure

One time a guy in our party rolled a nat 20 on a perception check, but there was nothing around he didnt already see, so the DM said “You’re not quite sure, but for a few seconds it seems like you’re standing on a giant’s table, surrounded by 5 Giants. Your party seems to look stiff and fake, and Large papers and Dice are strewn around you. Then, everything goes back to normal.”
