Lol if all you can say about Batman in a conversation about poorly done disabled villains is “isn’t his whole thing that his villains are disabled” then maybe you shouldn’t fucking use Batman in the argument because Batman’s thing with his villains is a lot more complicated than that. It just is. There’s more to it than that. I don’t even know Batman that well and I know that.

And the entire thing is even funnier when you were talking about MARVEL and disabled villains. BATMAN IS FUCKING DC. NOT MARVEL.

Maybe don’t talk about shit you know nothing about in the future.

Obviously using disabled villains carelessly is harmful but PLEASE know the material significantly better before you start talking about how bad disabled super hero villains are

Otherwise the argument of that post is completely understandable.

raptorific:

bruce wayne maintains a presence on all conspiracy theory boards with the screen name BruceWayneIsTheBatman and all his posts have titles like “BRUCE WAINE IS BAT-MAN INDISPUTABLE PROOF” and it’s just a picture of Bruce Wayne from the back next to a picture of Batman from behind and they both have the contours of their butt drawn on in a shitty MSPaint red line (note: Bruce is in a suit and Batman has a cape, neither of their butts are clearly discernible) and the quote “THE BUTTS MATCH!!! THE FACTS DON’T LIE!!!!!” and he makes at least three of these posts a day, and “Bruce Wayne is the Batman” becomes a meme a la “Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer” and he gets asked about it on a talk show and he laughs uproariously at the idea and Stephen Colbert just HAPPENS to have a batman mask under the desk and they do a bit together where Bruce Wayne puts on the mask and walks around saying things like “excuse me, bank robbers, can I perhaps offer you some money to stop you robbing this bank?” and “I say, cease and desist your criminal behavior or I’ll have my butler ask you to leave” and the audience is LOSING THEIR MINDS laughing at the idea of this pampered rich guy taking on the Joker on a bi-weekly basis and then anyone who suggests “Bruce Wayne is Batman” in earnest gets met with mocking “oh man do the butts match” comments

I like that despite how big and how long it existed, half of the Batman fandom don’t even know what the Wayne Enterprises does.

That’s because it literally does everything

My favourite of these is Wayne Stage because I’m just imagining a group of WE employees having to get over interdepartmental differences to put on a production of Waiting for Godot or something because Brucie Wayne is an eccentric idiot who thinks theatre is a dying art that needs to be preserved but has no clue what people actually want to see.

What they don’t realise is that the productions are just randomly drawn out of a hat by his meddling children. Damian pulled out Waiting for Godot last month. Cass keeps filling the hat with ballets. Dick is campaigning for a musical. Tim tried to have the whole division shut down after an appalling showing of The Taming of the Shrew. Bruce overruled him because he’s still waiting for someone to pull out the joking Batman: The Musical that he snuck into the hat three years ago.

Wayne Enterprises has a branch specialized on Batman.

On. Batman.

The merchandising is real.

They’re going to give out free plush toys to all the kids when they finally get around to producing Batman: The Musical.

Wayne Batman tho. lmao. it’s like he’s hiding in plain sight. like, if you picked up one of his batarangs and on it was printed “Wayne enterprises” NOBODY would think twice about it.

Everyone knows that Bruce W. supports Batman, that his company is funding all the research for Bat’s gadgets and just giving them to him. It’s part of why so many people believe in the ship.

I appreciate that WE owns the Daily Planet, technically meaning Bruce is Supermans’ boss.

This actually does happen in Batman and Robin 16, leading to Batman, Incorporated.

I accidentally clicked on comma instead of m and almost tagged “bat” instead of “batman” on that batman post. It was absolutely hilarious to me. I’m not sleep deprived at all. Nope.
