Something I’ve been wondering, is it actually be possible to be autistic and NOT have another disability or mental illness alongside it? I mean, most autistic people I’ve met usually have something else diagnosed alongside their autism
Sometimes having autism is the most annoying shit on the planet because it makes me talk weird, which leads to people interpreting my tone incorrectly. Constantly I get people asking me if I’m upset when I’m literally just talking, especially on the internet. God forbid I have a slightly confrontational encounter with someone because it always ends up with them saying “Why are you so upset” with one of these emojis: 😆😂😳 tacked on at the end and it’s like, I’m not but I sure am about to be.
Autism. Neurotypicals call it a mystery, but the moment you tell someone you’re autistic, suddenly they’re all experts on why it can’t be affecting you

autistic who severe disable in other ways exist
autistic who need help live life exist
& that OK. we OK. we deserve love & accept. we not need be useful genius who save day. is OK if you see self in those ppl, but not all us do, & cannot use them as reason we should be value.
