Are you autistic?

So if you look in my about and in general I say no but honestly I don’t think that it’s entirely not a possibility. I don’t say “I’m not autistic” with anywhere near the same certainty I say “I don’t have ADHD”.

But anyway, I don’t actually know. As far as I know no, but I wouldn’t be altogether surprised if somebody said I was.

My advice is just completely separate the game from the fandom in your head and separate yourself from the bad parts of the fandom too. You shouldn’t feel embarrassed for liking something that’s honestly a great game on it’s own . Sure I want to kill myself whenever I’m on a popular server because it’s not fun to interact with kids under the age of 12 on a regular basis , but the game and the minigames made in servers are still fun so who cares? Just play it and enjoy it. When you see memes (1).

…(2) You have to remember that they obviously don’t apply to you

—————————————————-

Yeah obviously I’m not the same as the fandom and the fandom is bad (and young. There’s also that) and I know obviously the memes referring to the fandom don’t apply to me. And I don’t really let the memes about the game itself bother me, at least as much as I can, but it does eventually get to me. There’s nothing wrong with the game itself and I just wish more people would separate the two.

Although, the meme I saw that caused me to say that is actually pretty fine. It’s just the general trend really.

It is a good game and what other people say doesn’t matter. It just gets old.

Veggies and rice is like a quarter for a meal, divided. A week’s worth of potatos is about $3. Eggs are a dozen for $2… You can eat super well on like, $20 a week. I tend to not eat mcdonalds less because it’s unhealthy and more because I legitimately can’t afford it.

It is possible to not live off complete junk, yes, but the healthier food is still limited by having less money, time, and energy, and a lot of people don’t respect that.

what hockey drama happened now?

Um. Oh boy.

Last night Pittsburgh beat Nashville in the Stanley Cup Final.

It was a really interesting series in a lot of ways but mainly Tumblr took it INCREDIBLY FUCKING SERIOUSLY. There was a lot of hypocrisy on both ends to start off with.

People calling Crosby a dick on the ice (which, if what I’ve heard isn’t a gross stretch, is true, and he gets away with a lot), people calling the thing rigged, people being mad because of Nashville’s goalie chants, and so on. It was a fucking mess.

Anyway, I was fine thinking “people falsely demonizes Subban and Crosby might be a dick on the ice but he’s fine otherwise.”

And then of course I checked a non-hockey blog that has a lot of followers and people are saying that apparently people’s obsession with Nashville is bad.

According to the people on that blog, people would be calling Subban a dick if he were white. I’ve heard that people demonized Subban for things they let white people get away with off of Tumblr. Also apparently Nashville has a convicted sex offender and Pittsburgh has a black player who isn’t a dick.

Basically apparently there’s a million sides to a story and I don’t have enough information to know what to do with these contradictory accounts of the series.

Hockey is a fucking mess.
