1. How did you find hermitcraft?
I think I initially heard of it years ago when I first started watching Minecraft videos but it was actually you posting about it that made me decide to actually watch it.

3.

Do you have a favourite Hermit, and if so, who?
The only hermit I’ve actually watched for Hermitcraft is Grian, so I have to say him. However I also like Mumbo and falsesymmetry and.. some of the others but I’m not really familiar with most of them.

8.  Which prank was your favourite?

I’m having a hard time remembering the pranks, but even though it didn’t really go as planned I liked the chicken bomb Grian built above Mumbo’s base. I really thought when he shot the chickens with the trident and they exploded out was amusing.

11.  What build do you like the most?

The only one I’m familiar enough with to have formed an actual opinion is Grian’s base.. but I think that’s really cool. Massive structures in Minecraft appeal to me a lot especially when they’re built in survival. There are a lot of really cool ones though, I’m just not familiar with them.

17.

What made you subscribe/caught your attention the most?

I’m only subscribed to Grian and Mumbo at the moment, but that was for reasons entirely separate to hermitcraft, redstone and building. I’ll probably subscribe to others but it depends on how long my interest in hermitcraft lasts. (It’s going strong right now but who knows)

I actually haven’t seen the chicken bomb yet, I need to go back and watch that!

The first time I saw Grian’s base I was completely blown away. I’m not so used to seeing all the huge building projects going on in Hermitcraft, especially with how quickly they put them together. It’s amazing! I think his room at the top with the birds is super cool.

Yeah, I don’t know what episode it was, but it was somewhere in Grian’s perspective. I also just remembered the prank he did on Jevin (I think) when he was AFK was cool.

And yeah… I’m really just impressed with how good they all are at Minecraft.

You’re really on a roll with these vegan posts huh

I uh.. get Into Things sometimes, and this is probably the one of the weirder so far

I’ll stop once something else gets my attention, but.. the “veganism debate” is a nice intersection of my interest in preserving the environment and my interest in animals. And it also brings up an interesting moral question, basically “is it appropriate to kill an animal after a short but comfortable life?”, Which.. I think the answer is yes. If I were killed quickly and I didn’t have time to get scared and didn’t have time to process I was dying.. I wouldn’t care. Of course, the answer becomes more complicated if you believe in an afterlife, but.. yeah.

Sorry if it’s annoying haha oops

Hello! About your question, it’s all about supply and demand. More people who boycott meat = less animals bred & killed because demands for meat decrease. In 2014, 400 millions fewer animals were killed than before. Also no matter how little meat you’re eating, an entire animal had been killed for it anyway even if it’s 2 slices of bacon. You won’t save the animals already killed and/or to be killed soon, but you will decreased the demand for it and less animals will be breed for food. (1)

oh no, the second and third parts didn’t send it seems. I was telling you, if you truly love & respect animals, make your own research and check out multiple sources! There’s a lot of misinformations here for the sake of shitting on vegans bc people don’t want to take responsability. It’s easier reblgging something without checking any further, staying ignorant and making no change. I was myself just like that 2 yrs ago, making jokes about them thinking they weren’t making senses.Take care!

————————————

Honestly, I don’t think that answers my question? It doesn’t take a whole pig to make two pieces of bacon. The pig makes tons of food, and honestly? The entire pig is used. You don’t save an animal a day because you personally don’t consume a whole animal a day. And also, while I’ll definitely be looking into it myself (if I decide it’s relevant anyway), I heard that the decrease in 2014 was due to a drought, not meat-free diets.

But as for supply and demand, yeah, I realized that as I was typing the post. It’s like how not buying plastic water bottles effects the demand for them. That aspect I get.

As for researching veganism.. yeah. I mean I personally.. don’t really know how I feel about meat eating itself (I can justify it in the sense that I’m an omnivorous animal, but I have a hard time with liking the animals themselves), but I’m going to do research on how I can make my diet best for the animals involved, people involved, the environment, my nutrition, and what I’m willing to eat. I don’t know that that’s a vegan diet necessarily, but yeah.

Also.. I completely respect veganism. My posts “against” it are more about a certain /type/ of vegan. And like, I get the reason they’re like that is because they feel really strongly about it. But it is somewhat annoying.

So.. yeah?

yea i get what ur saying. schools are really paranoid about kids being assaulted, even thou nothing they do is rlly effective aylmao.

I think like.. preventing students from having unmonitored communication with teachers/staff/coaches is far more effective. Like I’m only allowed to email or call my coaches to prevent.. Relationships. I don’t think me sharing the bathroom with my history teacher from 10th grade is as likely to lead to Shenanigans as having a text conversation with my coach. Not that I think either would happen, but.

And like, idk, if a teacher DID want to have a Relationship with a student, doing it in a single-stall bathroom would make a lot more sense anyway.

But like, if something is going to happen it’s going to happen and there’s only so much schools can do about it.

imma be real with you, i think your school is just weird. a lot of school boards require teachers to have a seperate bathroom and even without that most schools still have seperate bathrooms for teachers

It might be my district. I’ve never been in a school where teachers couldn’t use the same bathrooms as students.

But like, I really don’t care. Like I don’t see why it matters one way or the other if teachers are allowed in or not. The vast majority of teachers are just going to take care of their business and then leave.

Plus, there are reasons other than using it that a teacher/staff could be in the bathroom. Students who can’t use the bathroom by themselves. Making sure there’s no funny business (like doing drugs).

Like, maybe my school is weird. I’ve never gone to a school with metal detectors, but I know there are some around here. There are a lot of other standard school things I’ve never had to deal with and in some ways I consider myself lucky for that.

But yeah, I don’t really see why whether teachers are in the bathroom or not should matter. If they’re a predator risk, maybe they shouldn’t be in a building with minors? Idk lol.
