also @ tv tropes anon: from experience, your best course of action when banned/blocked/etc, whether you think it was justified or not, is to let it go and just try to avoid a similar offense in the future. There’s always other channels on the internet to discuss what you’re saying.

(Part I) I’m a Troper who was banned because of a misunderstanding. On the Complete Monster forums, another user said some seasons of Kamen Rider hadn’t had Complete Monsters. When I asked which ones, a third user told me to stop asking pointless questions. When I tried to clarify that I’d been responding to the last post, the user apparently thought I was talking back and hollered the mods.

  •   (Part II) I don’t WANT to use my current account anymore, though. It doesn’t start with a letter, so even if I wasn’t banned, I’d still be unable to make a Tropers page, make or receive forum pings, or be pinged.   Unfortunately, I can’t make another account. My email won’t change when I try to update it, and whenever I try to use it for another account, I get a message that says, “This email address is already in use. Please choose another.”                                                                          

(Part III)  Worse yet, Lightysnake (the user who hollered the mods) aren’t listening to me, nor are the mods.  They keep saying I was asking pointless questions, even though the question I asked was NOT pointless.  Could you talk with TheMadCrow (the user whose post I replied to) and ask them to show the post AND the reponse to Lightysnake and the mods?

Honestly I completely get your frustration as I have had moderator action taken on me for reasons I view as BS before. (On Quora, and it was just some comments being deleted, but it for a bullshit reason).

Honestly, I don’t really want to get banned myself, and if you don’t want the account anyway I’d suggest just making a new email and making a new account with that. If you do it with Gmail, I can tell you how to have an email forward to another (if you don’t already know) so you only have to monitor the one email address.

I think that it’s perfectly reasonable to want to know which seasons.

Your best course of action is probably just making a new email because I know from experience that sometimes refusing to concede a point (even if you’re not in the wrong) is not worth it. Some moderators are just devoid of brain, and that’s the unfortunate truth of the internet.
