The McCoy’s toad [Incilius mccoyi] is a species which was only just given it’s own classification in 2011. Formerly synonymous with the pine toad [Incilius occidentalis], these toads occur only in certain regions of Chihuahua, Mexico. This toad was found in Guadalupe y Calvo by Jonathan Rodriguez.
In fairness to King Kong, if I had a tiny adorable primate in my hand I would also be very resistant to someone taking it away from me.

The notes are hilariously full of “WHO THOUGHT IT WAS ROMANTIC?!?” ……do ….people genuinely not know that “crazed monster lust for sexy humans” was the thrust of over half of all 50s monster movies and that it was the whole entire angle of the original Kong’s marketing…??….yes this post makes more sense and the 2000s kong movies make it wholesome but yes you were supposed to think old school kong was being horny
