The mainstream perception of ADHD is so severely warped, no wonder people don’t know jack or dick about how to work with it.
I searched ADHD last weekend… idk for the meme or something.
Anyway there was an article talking about the “ADHD epidemic” in southern Florida. Epidemic implies that it can be cured
And in the little card Google has it literally says “ can’t be cured, but treatment may help”
So basically that dumbass article clearly didn’t do a whole lot of research into the matter

I’m not really concerned with that in eighth grade I googled “can people with adhd still be smart,” I’m more concerned about why that was the impression I got from adults

@butterflyinthewell I don’t disagree with that. I think that the negative aspects are kind of ignored, though. But for what it’s worth I support both communities.
