i’ve mentioned this before, but as someone who has taken college classes people call “communist propaganda” (along with economics, the opposite, so I dare you to come at me conservatives) I can confirm 99% of those claims come from the fact that marx is brought up in various social studies he contributed to. these people flip the fuck out even hearing about marx. it’s entertaining to witness, but quite pathetic.

also, the college I went to was a community college in a left-leaning area, yet all of my professors except one were vocally anticommunist. I thought this was supposed to be communist paradise, but no, you morons just can’t handle nuance so you cry when you hear the word ‘communism’ AT ALL unless it’s in a negative context. you think I enjoyed reading ayn fucking rand? no, but I didn’t have a fit on social media about it, because i’m capable of reading things I disagree with.
