americans will literally wear shoes in the house
my house was built in the 20s with the original hardwood floor i dont wanna get splinters so hell yea i got house shoes
- Tagged
- also because of the way i bounce ny legs at my desk i need to have shoes or the chair leg thingy is uncomfortable on my feet
- also it's not just an American thing lmao it's much mire all over the place than that
- and sometimes they luck the floor
- anyway finally I'll get to my mom's house: we have two huskies two cats and occasionally my grandma's dog
- but I don't take my shoes off in my room
- but like anyway
- especially if you have guests over you may noy enforce the rule
- funny
- honestly
- huskies shed like nobody's business
- i do prefer being barefoot but i have baby feet ajd wyen the rule in wherever is wear shoes it's much easier ti just leave them on
- i don't see what the big deal is with shoes like
- ib my apartment with my roommates i kept wearing shoes because 1. people didn't dry the floor after they showered and i didn't want That
- like ¯_(ツ)_/¯idk ehat the big deal is
- like obviously if your shoes are muddy or whatever take them off
- my dad's apartment has wall to wall carpeting so we take our shoes off
- of course I'll take off my shoes without question if that's the custom or the house rule or whatever but
- on my feet and also it made it much easier for ke to go into the common areas
- or old people need the shoes to support their feet
- plus steo ij enough mystery puddles in the kitchen and you start wearing shoes
- to he fair part of that is wearing shoes in the house but it's not all of it
- unless it's carpeted/has a fancy rug idk what the deal is
- we're also somewhat messy so our floors get somewhat gross
