there’s something so attention-seeking and manupilative about ambulances running their sirens and making a big show about how they are transporting the sick and wounded. I see it as a classic virtue signal and the fact that they make you slow down and pull to the side shows obvious control issues. don’t even get me started on the ones with specific children’s hospital livery. aren’t you soooo special. let’s all make an excpetion for you because you’re saving a child’s life. Not like I have anywhere to be. idk. it just seems kind of narcissistic.
