Some of today’s passengers that made me smile:

• The woman who shyly asked to borrow my pen so she could give her number to another passenger, and then had me help decide which of her pick up lines was best
• The retired pilot that brought starbucks drinks for the whole crew
• The woman that set up an ipad with videos of birds for her dog to watch like tv
• The baby who drew a page full of red squiggles and then proudly presented it to me
• The old couple that held hands across the aisle for almost the whole flight
• The nonreving flight attendant that gave me a brand new national geographic because “you look like you know how to read.”
