I see posts trying to “simplify” the situation in Palestine, but it is already simple enough. It is genocide. It is an ethnic cleansing. Please stop making “there are two sides to this” posts, frankly it is deeply insulting. Grow a goddamn spine. Also I see a lot of those hot takes on human rights from American people – as a country that has been founded on genocide and continues to perpetuate it, you have no fucking right to tell people who are being killed that what they are doing isn’t self defense, isn’t necessary for survival. Stop cherry picking your human rights and understanding of settler colonialism. Stop pretending like this is new and isn’t a gross opportunistic move during a goddamn pandemic.
