i’m going to kill someone if one more american politician blames climate change in india and china because the ONLY reason the US is doing better (and by a pathetic amount comparing populations) is that they outsource their pollution to other countries. it’s basically the equivalent of shoving everything on your floor under your bed and saying you cleaned your room. this fact is ignored so much that even ‘progressive’ environmental activists in the US push policies letting the US off the hook for its waste because that waste isn’t technically in the US. what’s next, nestle is an ethical company because it isn’t using child labor in the US? that’s literally the logic here.
