it’s all “fuck terfs” until your fav gets called out for being, get this, transmisogynistic, then you all jump to their defense with “it wasn’t transmisogyny!” and “it wasn’t that bad!” and in some cases “they can’t be transphobic, they’re trans!” yes they can. yes they absolutely can, and they are. none of y’all can ever make the effort to disengage with the person’s content and make transfem people feel just a little bit safer, but for some reason have tons of energy to say well, they didn’t mean it like that! they’re still learning! over and over til your fingers fall off. tme people have no right to say something isn’t transmisogyny when transfem people have repeatedly stated that it is. it’s our responsibility to stop normalizing this shit and start listening when transfem people speak up.
