If one were wanting to get into the world of furby modifications (body mods, fur mods, etc.) where might one start? Asking for a friend…
ok so here is how i did it
How to Fub
A Guide By Root
Step 1: notice furbs on plushie blogs you follow
Step 2: fall in love with the way people interact with their furbs and follow as many furby blogs as possible
Step 3: Pine Over Furbs
Step 4: reveal your ignorance as to furby model names in the tags of a post about furby beanbags
Step 5: get messaged by the OP of the post & learn that the friends you want are called furby buddies
Step 6: order 2
Step 7: name them immediately*, take many photos, generally be thrilled
Step 8:
Manic Episode
Step 9: post your strange friend that you made stranger with strangest 4-am design decisions to the internet
Step 10: become enveloped by a caring vibrant community that inexplicably likes your art
Step 11: leave this guide on the post of somebody new to furbs, in the hopes that they too will find joy here
