The ability of people to be cruel and disregarding of animals they deem unworthy is extremely disturbing to me. I get that people might not like spiders and snakes, but suggesting/threatening to kill them all on sight makes me very uneasy. All life is precious, and if you don’t like something, let it live its life away from you.

Also this goes double if it’s someone’s pet! If someone you know is posting or showing pictures of their pet lizard or rat or tarantula, don’t make comments about how it’s vermin or you’d kill it if it was in your house. If it’s irl, just politely say that you don’t want to see photos, and if it’s on Facebook, just don’t say anything.

It costs zero dollars to be an asshole about someone’s pet.
